Samsung Tizen TV SDK 1.5 released


Tizen is an open source, standards-based software platform supported by leading mobile operators, device manufacturers, and silicon suppliers for a wide range of devices such as smartphones, wearables, Smart TVs, in-vehicle infotainment devices, and small embedded systems. Now Tizen is shipped with all new Samsung Smart TV from 2015 onwards. For the development of apps in the new Samsung Tizen TV they have also released Tizen TV SDK. Over the time the SDK has been improved with various feature additions to make the development easier. And now the SDK that was released to developer recently is version 1.5

Tizen TV SDK v1.5 has the following features in the IDE:
  • Author certification and Device profile registration
  • 'Check Privilege' function has been updated
    • 'Samsung Tizen TV Product API' additional support.

Similarly the TV Emulator also has got updates which are as follows:

  • Multiscreen SDK 2.0 Multiscreen SDK helps you develop the application which communicates between mobile device and TV easily. (http://www.samsungdforum.com/AddLibrary/MultiSdkDownload)

  • 2015 Smart Controller
  • TV Emulator is finally Supporting Mac OS
  • Event Injector
    • Network Connect/Disconnect simulation

And the TV Simulator now supports 2015 Smart Controller.
